Uhlig Chess Set

This German Uhlig Chess Set dates around the 1900's and is made of bovine bone. Uhlig sets are unique as all pieces unscrew into separate parts. The king alone is made from six separate pieces. These antique sets are highly sought after and of great interest to collectors! Look closely at the detail in each of the pieces especially the Knights.
